Future of GoodFootage
Distributors on Goodfootage.org will be able to create custom portals for presenting and distributing media content. Distributors manage their content by logging into a secure administrator account to publish new Stories containing video Clips, Images, and Documents. As a Distributor, you approve which users can download files and obtain digital license agreements protecting your content from misuse. Story videos educate viewers about issues and ideas, but also show how your media content can be used by others. Over time, Distributors on Goodfootage.org can build a library of quality content available anytime to anyone, anywhere in the world.
Users of Goodfootage.org will have access to quality content that is easily previewed, contains detailed text information, and can be stored in user-account Clip Bins. Simple request forms allow Users to request permission to use footage and images. Once approved, the media content provided by Distributors is free to download.
Following the beta site launch, Goodfootage.org will begin building architecture to allow Contributors to sell footage and images, increasing the volume of quality content and increasing the size of the site community, content audience, and media marketplace.
Goodfootage.org will use educational, scientific, journalistic, and technical standards to inform editorial direction and selection of Distributors and Contributors.
Goodfootage.org invites partnerships with other organizations and donations and support from the philanthropic community to bring new content to the website.
